The Suri alpaca represents only a small percentage of the entire alpaca population. The wool obtained from this variety is often called “The Wool of the Gods” or “The Gold of the Gods” due to its extraordinary quality.

Suri alpaca is distinguished by its silkiness and extremely fine fibers. Thanks to its special hollow structure, which acts as a natural insulator, Suri wool is seven times warmer than traditional wool. Additionally:

- It contains no lanolin, which eliminates the need for chemical treatments during yarn production.
